never not now is ultimately just a fun phrasing of words I use to remember a profound but simple truth. It is a reminder that our life is really just a collection of present moments. How we interface with the world in front of us, what we do now, inevitably becomes the flickering zoetrope that is our life. There is no standing on the riverbank watching the contents of consciousness flow by. There is only the river.
I’ve become increasingly distant from this wisdom in recent years. A crushing depression and dissociation with the now has catapulted me further and further away from happiness and contentment. These are my efforts to counteract that force.
I intend to use this space as a journal and portfolio. It is a small digestible palette of color. A space to bridge the gap between my internal ramblings, and you; my family, friends and readers.
